Redcliffe & Haseley White Dorper Sales Programme

White Dorper rams and ewes are available now at Redcliffe and Haseley. These represent our full range of White Dorper genetics and will be graded and presented for selection according to visual excellence and results of growth rate muscle and fat score.

Haseley encourages private selections for the following reasons:

• The importance of service by offering time and advice to select even drafts of the type required and at a known price on a date to suit both client and ourselves – very difficult to achieve for everyone in the auction atmosphere.
• We have large numbers of White Dorper rams to present for sale and can offer big numbers to give choice when selecting small and large drafts of rams.
• Our long term experience with merino auctions has influenced the decision. Selecting a draft of White Dorper rams is simpler than a draft of merinos – conformation and measurements for growth, muscle and fat at a given age as opposed to adding wool and all its variants in the merino case.

Redcliffe & Haseley White Dorper Sales' Objectives

The Redcliffe and Haseley objective is to achieve annual sales of high quality performance measured White Dorper rams throughout all regions of the Australian sheep industry. We supply these rams with measurement including Lambplan and any raw data clients require.

Annual sales of large groups of 8 to 12 month old full blood breeding ewes is also a focus. It is our intention to bring large numbers of full blood White Dorpers to the Australian sheep industry at an affordable commercial value. We also sell mixed age stud ewes but numbers of these are smaller and availability less frequent. We market ewes with and without registration. All registered ewes carry full breeding and Lamplan measurement. Commercial ewes are available in larger groups. Ewes are generally available year around and pre-ordering is advisable.

Sale of both rams and ewes commence at 8 months of age, following collection of post weaning and scan data.

Rams and ewes are graded for sale according to White Dorper selection criteria and measured results.

Prices are according to grade and negotiable for age and numbers per order. Forward orders for number and type are encouraged.
